Samsung Galaxy S3 vs HTC One X- Review

HTC One X & Galaxy S III  I9300 are two masterpieces from HTC & Samsung which are  HTC one X has got authentic camera & great sound quality. Galaxy S2's successor, Samsung galaxy S 3 is an all rounder & performs in every segment. HTC one X has been launched few months back where as Galaxy S3 is available in US & Canadian market. It will be available in Asian market soon.  Samsung Galaxy S3 will be launched on 31st of may in India.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy S III has a display of 4.8 inch. The HTC One X's screen is of smaller size – 4.7 inch.The HTC One X's display is quite sharper than Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III. It is 312 ppi & has display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. On the other side, Galaxy S 3's sharpness is around 306 ppi with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.Both the display screens are protected by corning Gorilla glass, which is another plus point for the smart phones.

Design

Both the cellphones have 3.5 Audio jack to connect headphones.Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III has a thickness of 8.6 mm & has footprint dimensions of 136.6x70.6mm.HTC One X is a lightweight phone, weighing mere 130 gms, while the  Galaxy S III weighs 133 gms.

Both phones- Samsung  Galaxy S III & HTC One X identical Quad-core processor which is the fastest & efficient processor.Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III's processor runs with a Exynos 4212 Quad chipset where as HTC One X has a Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset.Both the smart phones - Samsung Galaxy S 3,HTC One X have the latest & smartest android OS- Ice Cream Sandwich v4.x. in them.Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III has the Android OS with version v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich).Its competitor,HTC One X has the Android OS with version v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

The Samsung Galaxy S3 houses 16/32/64 GB storage internal space and 1 GB RAM.The HTC One X has 32 GB (26 GB user-available) storage capacity and 1 GB RAM.Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III's memory is expandable up to 64 GB using microSD and one of the disadvantages of the HTC One X is, there is no provision to add microSD card.
